We hope you had a relaxing weekend and we hope your Monday wasn’t too bad. If it was, we hope this sneak peek at the Hack/Slash Vol. 5 Deluxe Omnibus Hardcovers changes up your day!
The Hack/Slash Vol. 5 Kickstarter is currently in the works. Tim Seeley and Hack/Slash, Inc. are aiming to launch the next campaign this summer. Stay tuned for sneak peeks and to follow the Pre-Launch Page when it’s ready. Hack/Slash: The Card Game is coming to Zoop! Players will play as the heroes, Cassie and Vlad, and build up their decks with more powerful attacks, combos, and special moves. The core game comes with a “Double-Feature” offering two villainous Slashers from the Hack/Slash universe, with more expansions and Slashers to come!
Zoop is also offering exclusives to anyone who pledges within the first 48 hour and to anyone who signs up before the launch and pledges. The 48 Early Bird Reward is an exclusive poster (art to be revealed). Anyone who signs up before the campaign launches on Zoop and pledges will get this fierce Cassie Hack Holographic Card!

Vol. 4 Shipping Update - Wrapping Up!
We are happy to announce 90% of rewards have been shipped! So, what about the other 10%? The other 10% is mostly unanswered surveys and a handful of packages that still haven’t been scanned by the post office.
For anyone who has not received their reward or tracking information, please shoot us a DM and we will have the in-house team work on it as soon as possible.

Happy Wednesday Slashers!
First off, thank you so much for supporting Hack/Slash and making another beautiful hardcover omnibus possible. We cannot thank you all enough!
We are happy to confirm that bookplates have been signed and remarqued, rewards have begun shipping, digital rewards have been sent out via BackerKit, and the shirt order has been placed!
Some of you may have already received shipping email notifications from BackerKit that your reward has been picked up and scanned by the post office. Our in-house team is working as fast as they can with the assistance of our four-legged furry (not so-great) interns.
Since we are doing fulfillment in-house, we are moving as quickly as we can to ship all rewards out. We’re hoping that our small team can get everything out before the end of March. As our team gets closer to wrapping up shipping, we will announce a final lock down date for any backers that have not completed their BackerKit surveys.

The weekend BackerKit Smoke Test was successful and we are ready to open surveys to everyone. Some of you may have already completed your survey by the time you have opened this update. For those who haven’t, you can access your survey here: https://hack-slash-vol-4.backerkit.com/
Thank you so much to everyone who was randomly selected to participate in the Smoke Test. We really appreciate the extra set of eyes. And, again, we cannot thank all of you enough for supporting Hack/Slash Vol.4 on Kickstarter. Tim Seeley, himself, and the rest of the Hack/Slash, Inc. staff have never ending love for all of y’all.
Quick Action Shipping
We are aiming to open BackerKit surveys to everyone on Monday and want to start shipping as soon as possible. With that said, the sooner you complete your survey, the sooner we can ship your reward. We want this to be one of the quickest fulfilled Kickstarters ever! Fulfillment will be done in waves and the timeline from survey completion to shipping will look like this.

Wednesdays: Each week on Wednesday we will be locking down surveys that have been completed by 12 PM CST.

Fridays: The cards associated with those surveys will be charged for shipping every Friday.

The Following Mondays: BackerKit that were charged for shipping the previous Friday will be packed and shipped as long as all rewards are in-house. Rewards that only include the omnibus and bookplate will ship right away. Note: rewards that include items like the new Vol. 4 t-shirt will take a little more time to ship since we need to get a final count on the sizes that need to be ordered.
Reward Shipping Wave 1:
Any backer that completes their survey and pays for shipping on BackerKit by Friday, March 1st will be in the first wave of shipments. The first wave of rewards are expected to start shipping on Monday, March 4th.
The second wave will consist of backers that complete their survey and pay for shipping on BackerKit by Friday, March 8th. Those rewards will ship Monday. Each wave is collected Wednesday and confirmed on Fridays.
For those who were not expecting for fulfillment to happen so soon, no worries. If you’re not ready to receive your rewards right away, we’ll have a deadline in the next few months for when all surveys need to be done.

BackerKit Smoke Test - Now Live! Next Steps and Quick Action Shipping!

First of all, Tim Seeley and everyone at Hack/Slash, Inc. want to thank you all for your support for Hack/Slash Vol. 4. We are all so grateful for your love of Hack/Slash and so happy to bring you another amazing hardcover!
BackerKit Smoke Test
BackerKit has given us the approval to start our Smoke Test for Hack/Slash Vol. 4 surveys. The Smoke Test is a super helpful feature that helps us and the team at BackerKit sniff out any possible hiccups with surveys that we may have missed. The Smoke Test goes out to 5% of Kickstarter backers and these backers will have early access to surveys.
It will run from today to Sunday evening. If you are part of the 5% randomly chosen and if you spot any errors in your survey, please shoot us a DM and we will make sure it is fixed before BackerKit is open to all backers. We’re hoping everything is all good and that we can open surveys to everyone on Monday.
